Shireman Family Scholarship Honors Students

Earlier this summer, Shireman Construction was invited to personally award some outstanding Harrison County students with the Shireman Family Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to determined students who have decided to continue their education in a trade field.

Shireman Construction founder, James L Shireman, was very interested in vocations and realized the importance of having and maintaining skilled people. This fund provides four scholarships annually to one graduating senior at each Harrison County high school. These scholarships recognize outstanding seniors who have attended the Prosser School of Technology and will pursue post-secondary education. “It is the hope of our family that each scholarship recipient will make a positive impact in Harrison County,” said family member Becky Eckart.
